Слова my, his, her означают также свой. Для того
чтобы узнать, какое из английских местоимений надо
употребить, следует к существительному поставить
вопрос в именительном падеже: чей? чья? чье?
Например: Он берет свою книгу. Чья книга? — Его.—
His. Не takes his book.
Она берет свою ручку. Чья ручка? — Ее.— Her.
She takes her pen.
Я беру свой портфель. Чей портфель? — Мой.— Му.

1. Существительные во множественном числе имеют
суффикс -s. Суффикс -s, как и окончание глаголов
3-го лица единственного числа -s, произносится [z]
после гласных и звонких согласных и [s] после глу-
хих согласных, например:
pencils [z], desks [s]; sees [z], takes [s].
2. Неопределенный артикль перед существительными
во множественном числе не употребляется.

Little Nina asks many questions. She wants to take
their cat to the Zoo, and she asks her mother, “Do
